Dan Cook of Milton, DE has been a popular award winning
local photographer for over 25 years. He has photographed
many local events from weddings of former Miss Delaware
Laura Ludwig, to celebrities such as Reba Macintire, Garth
Brooks, and Hall and Oates.
Starting out as a photographer for the Delaware Coast Press
in 1981 he quickly moved up to the editor desk of the
Beachcomber Magazine. After stints as a freelancer for The
Whale and News Journal papers he has settled in as a
photographer for the Cape Gazette newspaper and Delmarva
Quarterly Magazine.
Dan is well known for his sports photography from Pop Warner
to pro football. For the last five years he has been a
fixture on the sidelines for the Baltimore Ravens and
Philadelphia Eagles. He has also been employed for the last
two years as photographer for the Baltimore Ravens
Cheerleaders.
In 2000, Dan had the honor of having five of his photos hang
in Pro Football’s Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. He also
donates many of his pro player prints to local charities to
raise funds for their cause.
Dan lives in Milton, DE with his wife of 15 years, Sherri
and their two sons Franc and James.
